Podcast host Joe Rogan went straight at the women standing up for Lindsay Clancy.

Clancy strangled her three young children. That is the crime. The defense says postpartum depression made her snap. Crowds of women still turned her into a martyr. The dead kids barely got a mention.

Rogan was not buying it.

ROGAN: “You know, I think if those ladies could see the crime scene and see those dead kids with their Fking vacant eyes staring up because their mother took their life, the last Fking thing that they saw was their mother standing over them, choking them to death, I don’t think they would feel so bad.”

He kept going.

ROGAN: “She’s out of her Fking mind. The world is out of its Fking mind. It’s like more of these things come up where you’re like, ‘This can’t be real. This can’t be real.’ And it is real. More of these things where you’re like, people are showing up in support of a woman who killed her children.”

“I don’t care how rough it was, the ability to kill your children is crazy. That’s a level of crazy that anyone who has kids, you know how much you love them, what you would do to save them, what you’d do to protect them from harm. The idea that you get to a point where you could strangle your kids.”

He is right. Those women are out of their minds.

The jury had nine women on it. After days of a hung jury the judge declared a mistrial. That is sick. It is also hard to explain.

This will blow back on women who did nothing wrong. If the story becomes that a mother can choke her babies and get a pass because of hormones, people will stop trusting women when it matters.

They will not trust them with kids. They will not trust them in a serious job. They will not trust them with the highest office in the country.

She killed her children. Was she out of her mind? Yes. Does that mean she walks? No.

The world has lost its mind.

Bottom line, Rogan said the quiet part out loud. Love for your kids is not optional. Murder is still murder.
